Chronic knee pain is the result of tight muscles in the pelvic region.
Tight muscles in your legs compensate for the tight muscles in the torso.
This results in a misaligned distribution of forces running through your leg when you walk, run, or even push on the gas paddle in your car.
It’s these tight compensating muscles working overtime that are hurting.
That’s why in this exercise, we will focus our attention on the pelvic region, trying to loosen up the movement of our pelvis.
The scariest part is not knowing where the pain comes from and what to do about it.
Doing this exercise once won’t relieve your pain forever.
If you do it right, it will relieve it for a little while.
This, coupled with the explanations you will hear at the start, will give you the tools to help yourself at any time.
And that will make your pain a little less scary.
